Slow Puncture: Signs, Causes and What to Do

A slow puncture is a gradual loss of air - you might top up a tyre and find it low again a few days later. It's easy to ignore, but running on low pressure ruins tyres and affects braking and handling.

Slow Puncture Causes

Small nails or screws, a leaking valve, a corroded alloy wheel rim (bead leak), or a damaged TPMS valve.

How to Find It

Soapy water sprayed on the tread and valve will bubble where air escapes.
